Big thanks to the fantastic musicians , Echo, my parents and family , Mike Sim , and Greg Segarra . Extra thanks to James Muller for many years of help and support.

“Trane plus Molly.. " is an Australian joke about Coltrane telling Molly Meldrum what he is going to perform on the TV show. Grandmother Chord is my take on Olivier Messaien’s 3rd mode of limited transposition. The title “Grandmother ..” is inspired by the story of Nicolas Slonimsky playing a gig with Frank Zappa on the Fender Rhodes. “Arc Etude” is an Australian Rhythm Changes (although I think the American guy wins!). “Out they go" is dedicated to Carl Orr. James Muller plays piano samples on “Wayland Solo” and “Grandmother Chord .. " “Jochen Computer” was recorded at my house with Jochen playing along with my computer. I cant play that well yet.

I remember walking up to Joe “bebop” Lane at the Strawberry Hills in the 90’s. It was his birthday so I purchased a Schooner for him. I asked him how old he was. He said “ I am Seventy today Sean." Joking, I said: “Wow Joe that’s great if I get to be 70 I am going to sleep around, start smoking, drink as much Cognac as I can and try Heroin for the first time. In an instant he shot back “Why wait mate?…. Why wait?"
