“Scott Walker is one of those names that has been on my radar since this album released. It topped the best-of lists of the sort of people whom I respect. I finally got to hear it for the first time and it is quite good. His voice reminds me of a mixture between Antony (of Antony & the Johnsons fame) and Eva-O. It is orchestrated, but not in a Sufjan Stevens kind of way... it is hard to describe. But recommended.”
