About Bethlehem
Here are Scott's comments on his new Christmas CD "Bethlehem":I had a lot of fun creating fresh arrangements of JOY TO THE WORLD, WHAT CHILD IS THIS and SILENT NIGHT. What's the point of doing a familiar song if it sounds just like everyone else's version?
I wrote "Bethlehem" with Randy Thomas ("Butterfly Kisses") and Ben Bauman a couple of years ago. I love the vivid imagery and the slightly middle-eastern melodic touches. Definitely not your typical Christmas tune...
I've always loved "Anthem For Christmas"... It was on Michael W. Smith's first Christmas record. I gave it a few tweaks to make it more of a "pop anthem"...
