About Sarah Moon
This album is the long awaited first release by Sarah Moon. A choral singer since youth who grew up to find the blues. She has a strong, powerful voice full of soul. "She can grab your heart one minute and your balls the next" says Crave Magazine. This album compiles some of the best undiscovered Portland based talent. Each song has a slightly different back up band to show different layers of her song styles.While growing up she toured with the Rapid City Children's Choir. With this group Sarah Moon had the opportunity to sing with Bobby McFerrin, the National Anthem at a White Sox game in Chicago, an appearance on the Today Show and at Carnegie Hall.
As a solo artist she has sang with Shania Twain, opened up for Bright Eyes and currently sings as a guest singer with several bands. Her styles range anywhere from opera to blues and hard rock.
Sarah Moon is a delightful vocalist and a conscientious person. Her album is sold in 100% recycled cd jewel cases to avoid using plastic and creating more waste.
