“Cool little song with an interesting shuffle beat. As always, SJ infuses great passion and style into her singing.”

“Lyrical poetry mixed with infectious vocals and s00j's signature guitar work.”

“Just picture this: Your average Rapunzel vs. Medusa song - all about coming of age, beauty and the fierceness that is part of being female. One of my particular favorites from S.J.'s "best of the best" album, "Haphazard."”

“Sooj's voice and guitar-playing blow me away, but it's her lyrics that keep me coming back. I love the overlapping of mythological creature and children's story in Mummy Medusa!”

“The highlight of SJ Tucker's original album, Haphazard - a uniformly awesome disc. I love listening to this album over and over, and this song is my favorite. Visualize the poetry in the lyrics of this song and try to follow the story underneath. It takes a few listens to really get all the details, because so much of the epic journey contained in this vignette is carried in metaphor and visual layers within the words.”
