New Group, New Artist– Ronald Phillips & New Vision

Ronald Phillips is a native of a small town in Millsboro, Delaware, “Mt Joy.” Growing up there, he attended St. John Baptist Church and sang with the Jr. Busy Bee Choir. He came from a very talented family of musicians. His father was a saxophone player who formed a band known in the night clubs of Baltimore, Maryland as Chuck Crawford and the Rocking Robins.

Unaware if any of his family recorded their talents, Ronald felt in his heart to break the barrier and produce the only music he has ever played or sang…Gospel. “Fresh” is his third album. Ronald’s first live performance was in 1981 playing drums for the AME Mass Choir. He is inspired by his long time friend Norman Hutchins, as well as several other artists - Donna Ritchie Johnson and Apostle Kimberly Daniels to name a few. The new CD entitled "Fresh" is already changing lives with its unique anointed sound.

Ronald married his sweet heart, Deidra Brock in 1987, and with her strong soprano voice they began singing duets. Ronald and Deidra have been married twenty years, and have the honor of parenting six children. Ronald’s older daughter, Crystal, is inspired to use her gifting in writing song lyrics as well.

Later in the ministry, others were added to this duet, thus, Ronald Phillips & New Vision was established. Ronald started as a one man band playing the drums, bass guitar and electric guitar, all of which were self taught.

The God given sound that this dynamic group has is so very unique. Their songs are written from prophetic worship, praise, brokenness, and individual life experiences. Favorite songs among listeners are "Fresh", "War", "God Gave Me", "You're The Lord", "God Is Worthy", and "Not By Power.

Since it's formation in 1997 the group has traveled extensively throughout the East Coast. Truly led and anointed by the power of the Holy Spirit, souls continue to be awakened, blessed, delivered, and saved by these spirited singers.

The song Deliverance was written to encourage a divorcee in their ministry. When New Vision sang the song, the young lady broke down in tears, because it spoke to her situation.

God has given Ronald Phillips and New Vision a mandate to reach this seasons harvest for the Kingdom. It's their time to shine as God shines through them with this melody of deliverance… "Fresh".

Ronald Phillips is the Founder of New Vision International Ministries, the Overseer of Spirit of Truth Ministries in Newport News Virginia, and founder of Phillips Enterprises, Inc., and Rondeephill Publishing. He has also Trademarked the Name “Ronald Phillips and New Vision” as a non profit entertainment singing group. He is a licensed member of BMI and ASCAP.

In 2003, Ronald Phillips was ordained as an Apostle.

As an apostle, Ronald intends to travel to the nations, preaching and demonstrating the Kingdom of God. As an artist he plans to do a live recording and producing others who are just starting out.
