“Rahsaan, highest of energy players, turns all songs on this album into new fresh jazz, even though is was probably recorded over 40 years ago. Roland Kirk was a musical genius beyond compare.”

“The tune takes me back to my freshman year in college when I was discovering jazz. They played it a lot on KUNM in those days (early 70s) Great to hear it again.”

“One of the great saxophone stylists. And this later recording--though I prefer We Free Kings and Rip, Rig, Panic--is a gem. A master musician on a very inspired night.”

“Wonderful,
It is a pleasure to listen to this guy. He has taken inspirational jazz to another level..on par with Pharaoh Saunders”
