Reviews:
"Like a mosquito flying amid a gander of geese, the music of Radio Orphans is a mix of minimal computer IDM and big downtempo beats. The group's blend of electro-influenced breaks, spacey indie-rock guitars, and David Byrne-esque vocals isn't easy to categorize, but it sure is darn good."

"Radio Orphans music is hard to classify, but it is always intriguing, adventurous, and often, hypnotic in its many shades, tones, and textures. Sometimes futuristic, sometimes primal, sometimes both, the Orphans offer a collection of songs that are sonically (and thematically) provocative. Bottomline: If you want to hear something you really haven't heard before, give Radio Orphans a listen."

"had me damn fool head completely blown off me scrawny shoulders...
'Cannot be!!' I shreiked!! Nobody could be this weird - or this good - unless they live in New Zealand and have the distinction of being called Des. The more I listened, the more my mind started to question my sanity. Do I really want to go any further knowing that if I listened to any more of this I'd have to lay a trail of breadcrumbs to find my way out again?. Body and Soul was the first track I listened to, and the one primarily responsible for my sonic decapitation. What a fine track this is, it's mix of aural samples and the laziest bastard of a beat you could ever wish to meet combine to make this a cracker track. Decidedly lo-fi in approach, but very smart in production and arrangement Radio Orphans has a nice blend of music that I particularly warmed to. While you are listening DO get a look at the lyrics, classic roundabouts :) Body and Soul became an instant keeper."

"Picking up where Throbbing Gristle and SPK left off 20 years ago, Radio Orphans seamless blends the found with the original to make truly new music. 'Born Knowing' is, so far, their most accessible!"
