Priscilla Angelique

Priscilla Angelique sang in choirs and performed at local theatres (playing either flute or guitar) during her childhood years. Early performances included Handel's Messiah and a number of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musicals. Over the years she developed an interest in jazz and was also very influenced by hip hop culture and dance music. This has lead to a sound that often leads to a musical fusion of these genres and you can often hear her jazzy vocals applied to R&B, hip hop, house, garage and neo-soul tracks.

Priscilla Angelique is not only a songwriter but also a producer and she is developing a large catalogue of songs. Her track 'Soul Love' describes the tension between looking for love in someone else and looking for a higher love and was written by her and co-produced with Mark Gamble.
