About Rising

A chance meeting 10 years ago brought DJ Boom and V Squared together for the beginning of a long musical collaboration. Songs produced by the two have appeared on albums by The DBC, Trifecta, the Boogie Man Ghost album, as well as numerous Listen Vision recordings. But Pressure Theory is the duo's first full-length album. Ten years in the making, Rising represents a natural hybrid of hip-hop and metal through exotic samples and live instruments. Two New York natives, Pressure Theory wants to bring hip-hop back to where it used to be - when producers cared about the beats and music more than their image.
