“Bouncy, happy, with funky breaks--this IS Pizzicato Five to me. And then after silence there is a forgettable hidden track. But "Happy Ending" by itself is the Japanese pop song that all others should be measured against.”

“I just can't say this enough: Pizzicato Five is great. They have a great sense about them when it comes to making disarming music. They are a group that seems to transcend a genre but Pop is about as good as anything. The compositions are fairly complex in the sense that they embrace so many genres.”

“Swinging, Austin Powers-esque pop music with Japanese vocals. Just the thing for doing dances where your knees stay together and your elbows stay in tight but your hands point, swing around in circles or bop up and down. Super catchy dance music!”

“A great song used in an episode of "Futurama." If it's good enough for Matt Groening, it should be good enough for you.”

“All of Pizzicato Five reminds me of an Asian version of Sergio Mendes. They have that same jazz sensibility with outstanding pop interpretations. Best served with a good book and a quiet afternoon where you can really get involved in the thought behind the music. Great stuff. Why can't I recommend an entire album?”

“Lounge music that would have fit in perfectly in "What's Up Tiger Lily"? Awesome!”
