“You're being evacuated! Two land cruisers from the office come and pick you up. You travel in convoy and at speed to your embassy compound. You transfer to military vehicles, and take off along the deserted road towards the airport. No sign of rock throwers, rioters or machete wielding guns, but the drivers are taking no chances. The pedal is on the metal. You make it to the airport. The Hercules roars into the sky as you sit harnessed facing in to the centre of the plane.
