“This brilliant and lively piece provides a stream of entertaining and innovative melodies and rhythms that had me tapping my toes and humming away for hours afterwards! The other songs on the album are also great! Highly recommended!”

“This is a really fun song with lots of energy and some really funky electric guitar. Take a listen, it will make you feel happy.”

“A good track. :o) friend check it. The bass groove and percusions give a good support for others instruments intervention. Very original. Fun ! ”

“Strong 'n' solid groove that happily reminds me not to take myself too seriously!!!!”

“You're being evacuated! Two land cruisers from the office come and pick you up. You travel in convoy and at speed to your embassy compound. You transfer to military vehicles, and take off along the deserted road towards the airport. No sign of rock throwers, rioters or machete wielding guns, but the drivers are taking no chances. The pedal is on the metal. You make it to the airport. The Hercules roars into the sky as you sit harnessed facing in to the centre of the plane. You feel relief at the thought of seeing your loved ones again, and guilt for your friends left behind in the mayhem... will you ever see them again?”

“You're nineteen years old, you're in a foreign land, it's the third world, dusty, dirty, rats in the drains, you're trying to keep the peace but you don't know all the lanes and alleyways among the tightly packed barrios, your heart pounds, your eyes swing back and forth, checking all the likely sniper spots, and every day another patrol, another chance to die so far from home...”
Bill H Rec'd this on Sep 11, 2008:

“Nice synth work and percussion groove -- something a bit different from Peter -- this is an instrumental beat mix that's sure to please. Crank it up!”
Fridmey Rec'd this on May 18, 2008:
Street Cred: 2808 Rec's: 180
“I think this might work well on a soundtrack for a War movie, uprising and aftermath scenes, people fleeing for safer ground from the enemy. or (Mash)like scenes of medics rushing to transport the injured on field stretchers. This song is from the album Timor, and all songs are written during the ongoing turmoil, chaos and crisis of opposing sides, and the frightful terror of being situated at the virtual epicentre of the maniacal pandemonium. For me, sometimes when songs are instrumental, the backround story is the missing lyric link, changing my whole handle or perception and appreciation for the song.”
