“Great progression from quiet and sparse to energetic and frenetic... all in a good way.”

“Well, I must say there is a resemblance to Fiona Apple, but just in the voice. The mood and execution is more on the likes of Scout Niblett, which is what I REALLY like about her. I downloaded the whole album and it is a great new find!”

“Swank, folky, interesting rock. If you like Kate Nash, Fiona Apple, Bjork, and other edgy and talented artists, you'll love Peggy Sue. ”

“have to rec every song of theirs I think. rather silly song, but the tempo changes and the intertwining vocals are great.”

“A very unique and powerful voice. Spare accompaniment with strings alternating with full orchestration. One of my favorite singer song bands. Really spectacular off kilter harmonies.”

“MAybe not quite as good as Body parts and First Aid, but simple melody with enough character and emotional inflection to wake this worth downloading. This song in particular is beautiful with a great slow progression of guitar and voice that builds and then dips into a warm melancholy ending.”

“From a blurb for SXSW: "Peggy Sue is Rosa Rex and Katy Klaw from Brighton via London. Their friendship was originally based on a mutual appreciation of teen film 'Empire Records' and an unspoken rivalry about their collections of Regina Spektor bootlegs. Then in January 2006, Katy was offered a gig and asked Rosa along to keep her company on stage. The duo played 3 songs one of which they wrote that night, and Peggy Sue was born."”

“Vocals remind me of an understated Kate Nash.”
