“Now for something totally different. Pat MacDonald uses his muddy, swamp-rock guitar sound combined with smooth vocals to great effect in this riff-based roots rock song. It digs its way into your brain before you know it. Imagine a mellower Sound Garden meets John Lee Hooker in some dark alley. Awesome lyrics, too.”

“The bridge in this song is the Michigan Street Bridge in Sturgeon Bay, WI. It stands out in my childhood memories of family vacations to Door County. Crossing the bridge was crossing the doorway into your summer vacation. The road on the other side was not long the way to your destination, it was your destination. Now, any stops along your way, for apples, cherries or ice cream, weren't delaying your arrival, but were future memories and time to be savored. Thankfully, we have people like pat to help keep this special bridge right where it is. Thanks Pat!”

“Simultaneously a throwback to his early work and a great example of his latest sound. A must have!”
