About Omega Love
Omega Love is a five piece band based out of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Since their conception in the fall of 2004, Omega Love has gained a devout following through their strong live performance. Consisting of Jocelyn Geisler (voice), Jim Barr (keyboards), Luke Williams (guitar), Joe Rusnak (bass), and Jon Rent (drums), Omega Love draws of influences ranging from 70's soul to modern day hip hop. Led by a sultry female vocalist, Omega Love consistently keeps audiences moving from start to finish. Their sound is simultaneously fresh and rooted.Reviews:
"In Geisler, Omega Love found a sonic grounding: Her warm vocal style has more of an old-timey, simple jazz and blues sound than the usual modern-day diva histrionics. That proves an effective counterpoint to the bands propulsive, synth-washed sounds. Omega Love walks a tightrope musically, between accessibility and eccentricity...If anything, the groups eccentricities give it a subtle edginess, both musically and lyrically.
