“One of, if not the, best rock songs of the year. There's amazing depth to this song both lyrically and instrumentally. The guitar riff is so addicting, and the solo is great! The drumming is outstanding on this track!

“Blacklight is an excellent tune with lots of great energy. It's a shame that this may be the last song we ever hear from Northern Room, as Andrew Jonathan (AJ) has decided to resign from the band. A performance on November 8th at Turner Hall Ballroom, in Milwaukee, WI, will be their farewell concert. After that show, Northern Room will be no more.
If your a fan of Northern Room, you'd better get, what may very well be, their final musical offering. ”
