“Zimbabwe is a country facing extremely difficult circumstances; yet out of the ruins, the hopeful voices of children rise. If this song doesn't make you want to dance, then you better check yourself for a pulse! Thank you to these wonderful children for infusing me with such joy and hope for a better world. ~E”

“cute song, though I can't understand the lyrics. I think that adds to the charm. this album is a must-buy...these guys are really talented, and the money will go for a good cause.”

“Besides the fact that I originally read the title as "You have maimed the nation" & thought it was a peculiarly cheerful song for its name, this is an infectiously energetic tune with spot-on harmonies & awesome drum work. I "got down." ”

“The most refined sounds of these "Zim Kids" offerings as well as the most most impressive of the album photos. Rhythmically fantastic, vocally true.”

“if you buy any album today, buy this one. It will touch your soul. And it will truly help the children. Tell all of your friend to buy this song, and all of the album, what is 98 cents, and the songs are worth much more than that. Your support can give these children so much, and if you let the songs in, they will give you everything back and much more.”

“This song is really disturbing. Reminds me of a Beach Boys cover by a choir in Canada that my girlfriend loves to play.”

“So many artists write about bullshit that we all take for granted. To hear an orphan sing a song entitled "When My Mother Passed Away" is gut wrenching. I am 27 and could not imagine not knowing my mother whenn I was growing up. We can give these children a little bit of our love and support by listening to and buying their beautiful songs. Tell the world about the plight of these children, and all the children in Zimbabwe that have no food, or shelter, or love, or hope. We have the power to give it back with a single click!”

“This song just shouts Africa and will have you humming away and wishing you could sing along properly!”

“buy this song, and then buy the album. Maita Basa Mutubambile Orphan Choir. ”
