About Rock The Planet

Lead by band leader Muruga Booker, Rock the Planet mixes Funk and Rock music on this energetic record with a dose of environmental activism.

Co-produced by Dr. Funkenstein himself George Clinton who also lends vocals to the songs "Ju Ju Man", "Air Head", and "Dysfunction". Rock the Planet also features guitar work by Janis Joplin guitarist James Gurley and a guest appearance by accordion player Al Rapone.
