“Co-vocalist Margaret Fiedler is gone on The Sound Your Eyes Can Follow, and the band's previous dissonant post-punk guitar work has been abandoned and replaced with horns and more sampling and loops. The triumphantly squalling "Shadows of Tall Buildings" is the strongest example of the band's cacophonic new sound, something like Public Image Ltd. meets Charlie Mingus. Yikes.”
