About Born 2 Praise
Michael L. Gary, II was born on December 12, 1995 to Michael and Roberta Gary, Sr. He is the eldest child of three. Michael is 12 years old and is in the eighth grade in Baltimore, Maryland. In the 2006-2007 school year, Michael participated in peer leadership programs and The Johns Hopkins mentorship program.He is a musician specializing in guitar. Michael II can also play drums, congas and African drums. This talented young man is the former lead guitar player and backup drummer at the Renew Hope Christian Community Church in Baltimore, Maryland.
In September of 2007, Michael II auditioned as a lead guitarist for the Maryland Children’s Choir. Due to Michael’s gift and anointing his audition lasted a mere 30 seconds. He was welcomed into the choir with open arms. In November 2007, thanks to producer Minister Will Smith and his wife Faith of The Maryland Children’s choir, he was on the same stage as gospel artist Mary Alessi and gospel producer Troy Sneed.
