Our take

"Mercury Rev's seventh album is full of majestic, atmospheric art rock that’s heavy on the synths and light on the ears."

“Look, I enjoy Mercury Rev, but often the lyrics seem just filler, meaningless and ignorable, and fade into the background of their atmospheric. tonal beats. For some reason, this song speaks to me. It's the best song on the album.”
