“This one also sounds a bit like a soundtrack. I love soundtracks! It has a good message though, I think. I haven't gotten a chance to listen to the whole thing though so I can't say a whole lot about it yet.”

“This sounds a lot like a piece from a soundtrack. But it sounds great.”

“It's hard to pick favorite cuts on this album, but this is one of them for sure. Dynamite lyrics. Impressive backup vocals towards the end of the song.”

“Powerful song with intelligent lyrics: "You gotta love to lighten that load/You gotta live to die/You gotta lie to somebody sometime/Better make it white Cause someone will be waiting for you somewhere dark and deep/ Someone will be greeting you somewhere in your sleep/Oh somewhere in your sleep." Appropriate words, considering Ghost Notes was recorded in an old, supposedly haunted Victorian mansion and mixed below an apartment that was said to be haunted, too. It is said when Barber played back the final recording, mysterious phantom vocals were heard embedded in the mix. I don't hear the "phantom vocals" on the final cut, but this song is nevertheless powerful and moving. Get it.”

“Great song! "I could kick your ass, yeah you in the looking glass, I'm going to settle my accounts with you!" ”
