“I found this song to be very touching, beautiful, and yes... Even painful on an emotional level. It is from the perspective of a person who has been over burdened with life's problems and feels like she's left to face them alone. She only wishes for someone to be there for her, to help comfort her.. To be her "guardian angel" when all hope seems to be lost. But she wonders if her guardian angel will ever come for her and help her face her burdens.. Or will she be left to face them alone.
Both Marina's vocals and the instrumentation are equally angelic and haunting in this song. I can tell she puts a lot of heart and soul into her music, and she does this one song so well I can actually feel the pain in it. This is true talent my friends.”
