About The Gift of Cat Love

No sooner had I finished releasing "Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers" when Celtic cat lovers everywhere started asking me, "When do you plan to release the next CD?"

Well, I hadn't quite thought of that. I had a few more songs inspired by cats everywhere, but I wasn't ready to release another CD. Two years later, that's all changed.

With the incredible talents of producer, Rich Brotherton, I'm pleased to announce the release of the first three songs from my upcoming CD, "MORE Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers".

This album follows in the great tradition of the first top-selling CD. I play Celtic folk music and wanted to have an album that shared my love Celtic music and cats. This CD captures that magic by combining the two in the most-unusual... actually surprisingly not as crazy as you might think way!

"Not crazy?" You ask. "You must be mad!"

Nope. I see it as destiny. I was born on St. Patrick's Day, March 17th, the day for all things Irish. After releasing the first CD, I learned that March 17th is Also St. Gertrude's Day. She was the Patron Saint of Cats. Yes. Destiny!

So grab a pint of milk and sing-a-long with these sometimes funny, but always loving dedications to cats and Celts.

Slainte!
-Marc Gunn

“This is a fun version of an olde favorite. The singers really love cats and drinking songs, by the sound of it.”
