About Skeletons
Listen to Kaitee Page's dense, classical arrangements and her angelic yet dynamic voice and it's hard to believe it's only been two years since she launched her all-out assault on pedestrian Pop Rock armed with her piano, violin and hitherto unknown songwriting chops. What's not hard to believe is that she has been classically trained since the age of 8 and she's quite the globetrotter, originally from New York and currently residing in Sleepy Hollow (via London, Los Angeles, Nashville, etc.). She must have sucked the musical soul from these locales via osmosis, and now she channels them through her incisive and gorgeously arranged songs. -CitybeatLunic’s first album, Skeletons, is the naked truth. Confessions of a dark, secret life aching to be heard... Her follow-up EP, Splinter, is a reflection on this time and a bitter realization that the wedge a life of secrecy can drive between the keeper and his loved ones is inevitable, and perhaps irreparable.
Taking reference from the greats such as Muse, IamX, & Placebo, Page wraps sorrow and triumph in contagious melodies and poetic, guilt-ridden lyrics. Easy comparisons can be made to the quirky, sweet lullabies of Tori Amos or Regina Spektor and the angst-ridden aggression of Paramore or Evanescence, but with her uniquely raw, straight-from-the-gut interpretations, Page creates a sound entirely her own.
Lunic's 3rd album, Lovethief, is due out March 2009.

“Crash? This song is not likely to crash though.
Kaitee has a good voice and the violin is making the song so much better. No wonder this artist made the 50K on sellaband so fast.

“If you love 'Crash' that the next song to buy. 'Disappear' is really fun and upbeat like a theater piece with emotions swinging around. Lunic has an indescribable sound and humor to their music which I love!”

“Red roses? No, when love turns bitter and deception is all you see, Roses are yellow! Lunic's enchantment comes through their fantastic humor, clever lyrics and circus-like strings and music. You'll be in for a bumpy ride!”
