About Songs For the Darkness, Songs For the Dawn
Looprication's debut album. Despite nearly ten years of recording under this moniker, Looprication had only released the odd single in the past. 2009's Songs For the Darkness, Songs For the Dawn is an emotional journey, from the relaxing to the pensive to the grating, of music from the mind of ix.The album was written and recorded entirely in a home studio in San Diego. Some mixing changes occurred before the album's release, but what you hear is almost entirely the result of what was done in the span of 28 days as a result of February Album Writing Month (www.fawm.org).
All tracks were written by ix, except for "Draw String," which was written by djx and ix.
