“This is a rather unusual for even Lisa. Quite discordant with her semingly typical deep accompanying violin, but then she uses these distorted voices, and combines spoken word and exaggerated sanguine vocalizations.
Still the melody, as it is, pulls through the entire song and holds it together. What would be experimental for almost anyone else successfuly maintains itself as a provocative and enjoyable song.”

“Spending all my recs on her ,but I can't help it.
Just pretty piano melody and her whispy voice. So evocative and warm in a sad way.
I figure people are going to realize he is brillaint eventually and she will become popular!”

“How many times can I say a song is beautiful. I am amazed at her consistant ability to create such compelling music. her violin is always an accent in her work and just used to compliment her voice. No long Jean Luc Ponty solo's. And these slight guitar riffs that fill out the melody.
I wish I could rec the whole album, ”

“stars out as a sweet beautiful song with piano and accordion accents, then morphs into short effusive cacaphonic orchestral rant, without losing the beauty or the sense of the song. Ends with her admonishing her cats libido extraneously.

“Maybe I am crazy, In some sort of crazy spell.
this is a bit out there at times, but the chorus is wistful and ethereal and wonderful. More of an orchestral arrangement of strings, rather than her usual solo accents.
The song doesn't really go anywhere but it doesn't seem to matter. It just leaves me with a smile.”

“a great simple song with a recorder of all things. Once again the arrangements make this work with so many little pieces that add to a great final song”

“A simple lovely song with a discordant harpsichord and her violin thrown into a pretty melody, that almost ends in a train wreck but somehow makes it to the station with all hands sitting pretty.”

“a very soft slow song, with a whispering voice, but well put together ,and the slight changes in mood from the instrumental parts (which are longer than in most songs with vocals) to her singing are somehow soothing without being boring or easily dismissed.”
