Lily Vasquez

Lily Vasquez, is a singer/songwriter, professional mambo dancer and actress, who has been performing all of her life. Her career as an entertainer began at a young age, as early as four, when she performed as a singer and folkloric dancer in her native country of Colombia. Throughout her youth, her talent continued to blossom, as she was frequently chosen to represent her respective schools as a singer, while at the same time keeping herself busy with numerous dances, aerobics and drama teams. Since arriving to the United States at the age of 14, she has performed in countless parades, festivals and other events in both song and dance. As her career advanced, Lily has matured in the entertainment arena developing a unique style and grace of her own, combining the many musical styles that have influenced her life such as Pop, Rock, Cumbia, Bolero, Salsa, among others.
After raising the $50.000 on SellaBand, a revolutionary new music site, with 543 Believers backing her financially, she started recording her Latin rock album ‘Pasión de Mujer’ in Powerhouse Studios in New York. Together with producers
Charlie Contreras and Pablo Garcia, Lily Vasquez recorded a dynamic mix of rock songs infused withLatin influenced melodies.
