About The Asylum

The main challenge for the three founding members of Laudanum Forest was to blend their different musical styles and tastes into songs that would satisfy all three of them.
This resulted in a first album, “The Asylum”, a musical mix of alt rock, sixties psychedelica, new wave and progrock.

“My personal favorite Laudanum track. It's so wonderfully creative, combining many great sounds: pulsing beats and guitar riffs with quirky electronics, and a gorgeous piano interlude with a dramatically eerie chord progression. And on top of it all is Naf's lovely voice. Hell, I already own their CD and I went and splurged my hard-earned 13 cents on it here just to write a rec!”
