“Seriously, a white chic?!? Deeply funky!! The most recent reference I can think of that the instrumental funk backbone of this tune calls to my mind would be Aquarium Rescue Unit (Their good stuff that is!)- Almost "Parlimentesque" depth of rhythm and toss in an organ with a soulful Govt' Mule feel! SOLID rhythm section, not sure if it's synth but either way it gives you that deep dirty "will not be denied" groove up to your neck!!”
