“"I thought the city air would hear me whisper..." One of the more interesting waltzy(ish... well, 3/4) rock pieces I've come across. Ever. ”

“an introspective and sad piece ... beautifully woven guitar, piano, and violin. so good and so cheap - how can you pass it up?”

“sparse and minimal, but just right. powerful and uplifting in a woeful kinda way and leaves you wanting more.”

“Again I already own what I think is the best song on this album, Snake Oil, but this is a song where she let's her violin take off a bit. it is quite discordant at points but that just reflects her voice and it is full of interesting instruments playing off each other and her sultry gravely voice lifting the song to different emotional levels”

“Wow... Kristin Hersh is one of the most original voices I've heard in a long time. Soooo refreshing, and I've only heard a few of her songs so far... so, since I've downloaded every single song in her Amie Street catalog, I anticipate a lot more refreshment. :)”
