“Excellent man-with-guitar old-school folk. This is a bit of an arbitary rec - its a solid album, everything on it sounds good. For a bit of a change there's a reel - or perhaps a jig, one of those things - on 'the shores of wales.' Very nice album!”

“Each song will make you stop what you are doing to just listen to the story and be taken someplace far away..... ”

“Great story telling - with a tip of the hat to Harry Chapin/Gordon Lightfoot and Chris Deburgh”

“As a former DJ I am so delighted to find this music. Kray Van Kirk ranks up there with the sounds of James Taylor, Cat Stevens, Jim Croce, and Gordon Lightfoot. This is a wonderful album! A very rare find indeed! I give the entire album 2 thumbs up and my credits. It’s well worth the purchase. Thank you Kray! ”

“You only need one instrument when it's played this well - Van Kirk plays beautifully in the classical style, and has a beautiful voice to go with it. I really enjoy the entire album, not just this song, and find that it reminds me a lot of John Denver and Harry Chapin.”
