In early 2007, a group of local church guys from Norwich, got together and birthed a band that are now known as "Kairos." Over the following few months, they wrote new songs, got them recorded, bought themselves some merch to sell, and then went on to win a national competition all across the UK. The Ultimate Showcase saw them being featured on Sky TV across the world prior to the final which was also watched around the globe. Their winning prize was to open for Delirious, Toby Mac and bandwithnoname on the 5th May this year at Alton Towers, The Ultimate Event. This was their FIRST gig. Well, thats all true, summed up in a nut shell anyways. Hi, my name is Aaron, the guy that formed the band. I saw one of my dreams become a reality in front of my very own eyes, in a very short space of time, 4 months to be exact. Most people only get to experience a kairos moment maybe a few times in their lives, sometimes never, but this year so far has been full of kairos moments. Why all at once? I don't know. But it has been a tidal wave of kairos moments that I can't begin to explain how or why, they just happened. I wrote the song 'Something New' at the beginning of the year, and all I can say is, I am seeing Something New, and it's fresh. It totally amazes me. My faith in God, Jesus Christ, is where I build, trust and base my life in. All I can say is, there is no such thing as coinsidence, but purpose. And we all have purpose in life. Once you have found your purpose, and are living for a purpose, thats when you are truely living. Life is for living, so live a full life......

Kairos definition - Right or opportune moment, a defining moment, climax, critical moment, crunch, decisive moment, Kairotic moment, moment of truth, turning point.
