“Even though I own the album, i bought this song just so I could rec the album. Juana is one of my favorite musical artists, and this song, is somewhat representative of her style. But to get the full beauty of her work, I think it necessary to play a LOT of her music. It is all so beautiful and mellow, but full of amazing brilliant emotional texture. Her music always lifts me up and gives me energy, just because i feel better after listening to her. I also like the use of electronica and unusual instrumental sounds (at least to western ears). She does so in ways that totally meld with the music, and never as a novelty. Juana Molina knows how to layer music to add richness while keeping the essence of her softness intact”
