About Silver
Hailing from Atlanta, GA, John McNicholas is a singer/songwriter that pulls the inspiration for his craft from real-life situations based on his personal experiences and the lives of his friends. The names are not always changed, so consider yourself nabbed if you should recgonize yourself in the songs. "Some of the catchiest and best-written guitar-pop to inexplicably not go national" (the Weekly Planet - Eric Snider) Live and in recordings John's songs can be as awkwardly personal as those by Juliana Hatfield, as tongue-in-cheek as those by Fountains of Wayne and Ben Folds and as vivid and descriptive as those by Pete Yorn and Dean Wareham (Luna). Over the Summer, John has just released a new record with Atlanta-based producer Russ Fowler (John Mayer, Matthew Sweet, Pete Droge, the Offspring). No RECs yet
