My Testimony Hello my name is Moises Martinez. I am a Christian that raps praise and worship to the youth. Besides that, I was a person that was drastically changed over a something called an encounter, where I was born with a new life. An encounter is a 3day getaway from all the worldly things, it allows you to be around nothing but God and see what great things are possible to come, and things that he has done. It,s a growing relationship with Our Father himself. There,s no negative, and it teaches you how to grow strong in the Lord. Long story short, I went to one, before that I was a guy who stayed in the streets trying to make a dollar or two, doing anything I could do just to earn a buck stealing, selling drugs, lying, cheating and my life wasn't going anywhere. I would use women to make me happy but at the end I felt the same, down and lost and depressed. I didn't know what I was going to do 4,5 or even 10 years from then. I felt like nothing until I heard of something called an encounter and then I thought about it and said there isn't anything that can help me, and God doesn't exist, if he did then why I'm living this life. Until a friend bought me to church one day. I thought nothing about it at first, just another place where people are always talking about the same old boring thing, people were talking to me and were happy. I finally felt love from people I didn't even know, people I didn't know that were just as down as me, they didn't care about anything but themselves, and I didn't blame them. So I went to this church for 3 weeks then they kept talking to me about the encounter telling me it would change my life. I chose to go not realizing what was about to happen and that is where I decided to open my heart for the Lord. tabpar par Finally I came back from my 3 day weekend and I was so full of the holy spirit, I was on fire for the Lord and just so happy like never before. I wanted to do so much for the Lord, so much but I couldnrquote t do everything at one time. I prayed, I read, and I found a new joy in my life like never before. Never thinking I would feel like this, with love like this I knew I would never give up and never let go. I didnrquote t want to lose this, I spoke to others and bought others to the house of God. When I felt down and tempted and felt like if I donrquote t do something now Irquote ll lose this relationship with God. I had to go to my pastors and leaders and they helped me out. That is one way of staying strong. I knew that my God was a loving and faithful God, I just had to wait on his time. Once everything was said and done he blessed me with a show at my church and that is when I met with a group called Double Impact. With their talents and message over the young generation, I knew I wanted to be next. I knew I was destined to be up there worshiping and praising with the youth. They called me up on stage, I threw a verse and they saw something in me, it was the Lord shining a light over me. They decided to help me with recording and they signed me to their label. Now, my dream has almost come true. My first CD is called the Rising Son and I have my second and up and coming CD titled Reaching Multitudes. I will rise above all obstacles until I reach the Lord himself. I will do all things needed to be done for Him because my love is true from here on. I pray that I reach more youth, and go city to city to reach and touch their hearts with my love for them and God. I just know that God will open doors for me and let me travel the world and send the message to free those who need his love, and to bless those souls with the love for God.
