About Forever More
JESSE YAWN IS THE REAL DEAL. ONE OF THE FINEST BLUESMEN TO COME OUT OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY, HE'S STILL GOING STRONG TODAY. WHILE MOSTLY PERFORMING IN THE MID-ATLANTIC REGION OF THE STATES, JESSE AND HIS MUSICMEN HAVE GRACED THE STAGE OF MANY BLUES FESTIVALS IN THIS COUNTRY AND ABROAD.THIS CD FEATURES THE ALWAYS EXCELLENT DAVID MAXWELL ON KEYBOARDS, JERRY PORTNOY ON HARMONICA, AND THE FABULOUS CHICAGO HORNS. A HIGHLY REVIEWED ALBUM, IT DREW ACCOLADES FROM MANY MUSIC CRITICS AND MUSICIANS....
'A RARE TREAT... THE MAN IS FOR REAL' -- BERNARD 'PRETTY' PURDIE
'COOL AND FUNKY... CAN'T GET FUNKIER THAN THIS' -- JOHN LEE HOOKER

“Straightforward lounge blues, by a tight group with a vocalist that is easy on the ears.
This track (and the whole album) are nice solid pieces of craftsmanship.
Like your mom's favorite chocolate cake recipe, you'll keep coming back for more. Who cares if it's formulaic? The formula just tastes so good...”

“Complex, light, bubbly - a nice champagne of blues. The horns have a certain old-school restraint that reminds me of Al Hirt.
