About Don't Tell Me I'm Sick - The Single
Looking past the high energy rock... this album tells a story of a generation that moves from selfish materialism and brokeness to healing and finding their purpose in life.We live in a world of self-absorption. I believe part of it may have started with good intentions. We attempted to teach children to be self-confident; but as there was no foundation on which we would base our teachings, we taught confidence based on nothing but ourselves.
Corporations, who are more than willing to take our money, have expanded on this mind-set. They have brain washed our society into a firm belief of self-entitlement. I deserve it! I'm entitled to that! I owe it to myself to ________ (fill in the blank with whatever you see fit).
However, there is a cure for this self-absorbed sickness. The Don't Tell Me I'm Sick album tells a story...
-a story of a generation wrapped up in themselves, whose callous hearts won't admit how much they are broken and hurting
-a generation that abandons the pursuit of their own selfish desires for the embrace of a loving, compassionate Father
-a generation who finds confidence in themselves because they were fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of their Father, and because they have the unbreakable seal of His Spirit on their hearts

“A great original song. It's got a fun beat on the verses and a powerful refrain. ”
