Our take

"On her sophomore album, bouncing, sunny bass lines and electric guitar give a boost to Jenny's melodic pop-folk."

“I wish this song were longer, that's all I can say. It's perfectly catchy and sweet and even though it's shorter than every punk song you've ever heard, it's still delightful.”

“Funny! I was listening to 'Hey Jude' while entering Amie Street to check out new recommendations. The free download 'Led To The Sea' started automatically and for a moment I was puzzled by hearing a unknown Fab Four track!.. The backwards guitar fooled me thinking it was George Harrison.. It sound like a band, and the singer-songwriter Jenny Owen Youngs must have found the key to punch and groove, 'cause these musicians "don't just what they please", they please me! Thanks for a true thrill, Jenny! <3”

“Great tune; an almost anthemic rocker. You may get excited on the chorus: "Let me be the one who treats you right." ”

“What secret dimension did Jenny pull this song from? I've never quite heard anything like it. It's original, driven, and tightly done. All the pieces of this song come together into something great.”
