“Upbeat in tempo if downbeat in mood, this is familiar retro girl-group rock'n'roll with soul, but Jenny and her backing singers throw themslevs into it with real gusto and the instrumental arrangement is always interesting. Would sound great coming out of a cheap radio (in a good way).”

“Shut your eyes and you're back in 1960, all-girl harmonies, twangy guitar and all. A very neat little number this.”

“Retro 60's girl group outfit. They do it well. If they ever do a docudrama featuring Bandstand, the producers should consider this band for one of the musical parts. This album features a bit of early 60's girl group crooning and harmonies, some more uptempo numbers (LIKE THIS ONE), and even a dash of later nancy sinatra go-go style stuff. ”

“Small group, big band sound. Fairly motors along - can see a smokin' dance remix coming out of this!”

“A bubbly fresh summery tune with a hint of Mari Wilson about it.”

“Big groove, horn section ! Good good song... Janis Joplin is not far ! ”

“As a lifelong lover of the track courtesy of Flamin' Groovies I was delighted to come across this very worthy version. I really like how the group keeps the soulful backing simple, allowing the voices to carry the power of the song. Nice indeed.”

“Retro 60's girl group outfit. They do it well. If they ever do a docudrama featuring Bandstand, the producers should consider this band for one of the musical parts. This one gets a little bluesier and sounds like it could have been done by Genya Ravan after her post 60's girl pop career.”
