About Just Like It's Spelled

At the age of 17 Jeff saw the music video for Extreme’s “More than Words” and decided to become a musician. After receiving a guitar that Christmas he never looked back. Jeff is excited to release his first full length album “Just Like It’s Spelled.” A mix of pop and smooth rock and roll.

At an early age Jeff was exposed to many styles of music thanks to his parents. His mother introduced him to popular American music and Jeff’s father shared the music of his native India. From the Beatles to classical sitar music, Jeff absorbed it all. His American and Indian Heritage played a huge role in his love of music and personal development. He became fascinated with combining various genres of music to create his own style.

After graduation from college, Jeff abandoned his pursuit of becoming a psychologist to pursue his destiny as a prominent musician in the world. Over the course of the next three years Jeff began to craft his own sound. Inspired by a year spent living in South America, Jeff decided to reach out to the Latin market by recording several of his songs in Spanish.

Jeff’s music celebrates the triumph of the human spirit. Its upbeat and energetic feel has touched many fans all over the world. He also wants to support charities with his music. In 2004 Jeff organized “Hairapalooza,“ a hair drive benefiting Locks of Love. 200 ponytails were donated and Jeff performed at the event kicking things off by having his entire head shaved.

He has been featured on local New York television performing his music. Jeff also completed the documentary: “Aaliyah, So Much More Than A Woman” featuring an interview as well as a live performance of “Hush“ a tribute song to the fallen R&B icon Aaliyah Haughton. Jeff ‘s recent performance at a Jeff Buckley tribute concert in Toronto earned accolades from Jeff Buckley’s mother Mary.

He has also performed throughout India, jamming with local musicians. The fusion of Jeff’s style mixed with Indian music earned him a whole new group of fans in Asia.

Jeff’s music knows no boundaries and his fans have ardently supported him throughout his journey. Jeff lives ultimately for the live performance ~ spending his life getting lost in the music with millions of his fans is nothing short of bliss for Jeff.

Jeff has the fire in his heart to travel the road and meet his destiny. Come along for the ride…
