About Magic
Jeanna has been obsessed with music for as long as she can remember. She's dedicated her life to learning as much as she can about this wonderful world of music."It's beyond me how someone can just listen to a song as background noise. I get totally distracted and if the song really gets to me it stops me in my tracks and I start analyzing how they did it and how I can apply their style to mine."
The best way to describe Jeanna's sound is that it's a conglomeration of everything that she listens to. Her tastes range from Billie Holiday to Massive Attack to Alice in Chains to anything James Horner and everywhere in-between.
In 2003 she graduated college with a Bachelor of Music in Composition degree. In 2004 she won an Honorable Mention in the Billboard World Songwriting Contest for her song "Dream". In 2005 she composed the music to a compilation of Greek tragedy plays. Since then she's attended multiple workshops, seminars and conferences. She's read every music marketing and business book she could get her hands on and spends every waking moment writing or thinking about writing music. Thousands and thousands of hours have been spent hunched over her computer trying to create the "perfect" song.
"I know there's no such thing as the "perfect" song but that's not going to stop me from trying."
