About The Running
Sometimes you can't do everything you want in the confines of a band. Murder City Sparrow's Jay Sparrow needed an outlet for another side of his musical creativity: raw, authentic and stripped down "The Running" is his first solo release.Recorded live over the course of a year in his native Edmonton, this disc gets back to basics and features emotion in its purest musical form. Of course fellow Murder City Sparrows Doc DeGroot, Mike Nash and
Lanny Maskell all appear in support of their fellow band mate. The group will release their long-awaited debut album later this year.
