“What a beautiful song. Sparse and understated, it is full of haunting imagery and impressive piano and vocal melodies. It took a little bit of research to fully understand the title of the song (based on a civil war letter from a soldier to his wife) but once I did it has an even greater impact. A lovely CD from a truly versatile and talented songwriter.”
