jaromil

Jaromil is the name of the first character in Milan Kundera's book "La vie est ailleurs", It's also the name of arno's solo project (ex singer of piggledy, and the plot who shared the stage with venus, playdoh, jack the ripper, fran�oiz breut...) Arno recorded his first demo at home, alone with a poor computer, and has been joined by david (violin) and Flo (vocals). The first demo is quite a dark one. Still, Jaromil has a very peachy aspect on stage. after many concerts using a "loop station" which allowed arno to play several instruments, play all songs differently at every gigs, and sometimes simply stop playing to concentrate on sharing the moment with the audience, Jaromil is now a full band with drums, bass, keyboard, choirs and lead vocal, which is closer to the less intimist new songs, more "post-rock", or even disco-rock in a belgian style... The next Ep "come with me" should be released in november 2006. Jaromil only exists since november 2004, but already shared the stage with overhead, sebastien schuller, laetitia sheriff, Troy von Balthazar and more...
