“Rock, punk, indie, alternative. Japandroids has it all. Try them out if you are looking for that genre in between rock and indie, with a dash of punk and an alternative background thrown in.”

“Young Hearts Spark Fire is the first song by Japandroids I've ever listened to, and I must say that it's definitely given off a great full impressions. While it is still noise, it has that distinct pop feel that will mean both music fans with "mainstream" tastes and those who want something a bit more alternative will find something to like.
The vocals aren't perhaps the most prominent part of the song, working in harmony with the rest of the song instead of providing a speech counterpoint. The vocals are also not as loud as in most pop music, and don't start until considerably far into the song, but don't think this means they're that low quality.
Regardless, give Japandroids a shot; Young Hearts Spark Fire is a fantastic song and the band is certainly promising.”
