“These beautiful vocals and lyrics drew me in right away!”

“Such a sweet, sweet, bittersweet song about a lover's leaving... the beautifully mixed sound (full voice perfectly balanced by full instrumentation) surrounds you like a fuzzy blanket. Just lovely. (Be sure to listen to the whole album, though... this one's totally different from other afrobeat song sensations.)”
Joffi Rec'd this on Oct 17, 2008:

“Also sultry, sexy, and smooth, with a slow blues edge”
Yadira Rec'd this on Jun 25, 2008:
Street Cred: 122 Rec's: 9
“"I forgive you and choose to bend, though I know how this will end" Have you ever been there? well, this is the song! A beautiful, sad, misfortuned poem for love that is bound to end.”
Fridmey Rec'd this on May 22, 2008:
Street Cred: 2808 Rec's: 180
“This song brings to mind, one of many thoughts, but the strongest from Elizabeth Barret Browning, How do I love thee, let me count the ways!...raw, open, warm, delicate and passionate!”

Street Cred: 28326 Rec's: 1024
“I'm smitten with Janine Stoll, y'all. I would REC nearly every song on this album if I had the time. Too many influences and genres to name. Amazing talent here. Be sure to check out each and every song for the breadth of her work. ”

“Right on! Janine Stoll can cover some territory. The combo of afrobeat percussion with jazzy orchestration, groovy horns and smooth vocals is hard to come by... so well done. What a soulful voice. Glad you RECed her Fridmey! ”
