immij (pronounced “image”) is a four part R&B/pop female singing group based out of San Francisco, California. Since immij began in 2000, the four ladies have quickly gained recognition through various performances at high schools, colleges, clubs, casinos, festivals, and special events as their fan base consistently grows throughout the United States. The ladies are catching audiences with their powerful performance set, and with their 2006 sophomore album “Fearless”, the buzz on this California group has gone national and it pushes them to the next level. It won’t be long when Doris, Kris, Lyn and Mei share their music with the rest of the world.

immij consists of two sisters, Doris and Kris, and two cousins, Lyn and Mei. The four ladies met at their first children’s choir in church. All of them, practically being sisters, grew up with one another up to today. Each one comes from a musical background that have enhanced their capabilities as a group, including playing musical instruments, singing, songwriting, arranging, and dancing. And from that first day they started singing as a group, it has become a part of their lifestyle.

With a growing amount of performances, a fan base, and exposure, the decision to launch their own independent record label to release their debut album “Destined” in 2003 came into place at the right time. The debut album helped the group’s credibility and quickly expanded their performance exposure from local schools and events to large-scale festivals, college events and major casinos.

The ladies' sophomore album expects to take them to the next level. So with a common music lifestyle, the excitement to perform and a constant ability to deliver new music, the road ahead for Doris, Kris, Lyn and Mei has been destined. Today immij explores new music to be shared with their fans as the possibilities of becoming visible in an international market quickly approach. immij continues to motivate and inspire others by being positive, being fearless, and allowing their true artistry to stand out from within.
