About Love Quintessence
BIOGRAPHIENourrit dès son plus jeune âge de soul, jazz, reggae et musiques antillaises, l’aventure musicale d’ IMANI commence au sein de différents groupes. Il évolue en parallèle avec MJ et VIBE, deux des membres fondateurs des POETES HOP JAZZ ainsi que son ami d’enfance ALIBI MONTANA. De cette collaboration, il restera une grande reconnaissance mutuelle.
Ses talents de vocaliste dès lors, sont très vite sollicités (STE STRAUSS,SULEE.B WAX, MALEDICTION DU NORD, MANAU…).
En 2003, il sort son premier album solo chez Next Music « LES LARMES DE GOREE » qui reçoit un succès d’estime de la presse et du public spécialisé, saluant son originalité et son univers musical. Suivra ensuite une mini tournée Fnac.
2007 marque son retour, avec « LOVE QUINTESSENCE »: un album coloré par ses origines caraïbéennes. IMANI revient aux sources, en signant un album dédié à l’amour dans toutes ses facettes.
Un staff exceptionnel : ALI ANGEL, THIERRY DELANNAY,GUERDY... s’est organisé pour l’accompagner dans son projet le plus intime.
